MESSAGE FROM MATT DEVLIN
– CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS
As a native of British Columbia, my life passion has been to learn, develop, and safely share as many ski experiences as I can with my guests and friends. I have explored most of Canada’s spectacular mountain ranges, and chose our Kingfishers Monashee and Valhalla mountains for their naturally well-spaced tree skiing and ease of access. I’ve been fortunate to ski over 40 million vertical feet in the last 20 years, which has allowed me to develop a unique cross-section of ski experiences that will thrill and accommodate a range of different abilities, from intermediate skiers to expert shredders. My goal is to guide guests through terrain of unimaginable beauty filled with deep powder, provide a lifetime of memories, and at the same time make sure everyone gets down the mountain safely.
We have high standards for everything we do, and our commitment to safety on the mountain goes well beyond industry standards.
Our exceptionally experienced guides have decades of safe skiing and have undergone rigorous guiding, avalanche, and first aid training, while our pilots have amassed more than 40,000 collective flight hours. Equipped with the best advanced safety equipment on the market, expert guides, and all-mountain monitoring, we make your safety and peace of mind our first priority.
To access the most pristine parts of British Columbia, we use the most powerful small helicopter in its class—and we have two of them. We’ll take you to places you’ve seen only in your mind’s eye—the views will take your breath away faster than the high-altitude. Our two A-Star B3E helicopters are flown by highly skilled mountain pilots who possess over 40,000 collective flight hours, and maintained by an onsite helicopter engineer whose sole job is to take care of our birds.
